We are always looking for churches, businesses, and other non-profits to partner with us in an effort to “Act Together” to meet the needs of the children in our community.

Current Partnerships

Church Partnerships:
There are a number of ways your church can partner with us.

• Join our prayer team.  On the first of each month, a list of prayer requests and praises for the previous month are sent out to the prayer team.  Please commit to lift up Act Together in prayer at least once a week.  Our prayer team members enjoy seeing God at work and it’s amazing to see a prayer request move to the Praise report as God answers our prayers and directs the ministry.
• Sponsor an event.  Most of our events are held at churches in the North Atlanta area.  When your church sponsors and hosts an event, it provides a wonderful ministry opportunity for your congregation to serve families in need.  We do all the work and even bring volunteers (depending on the needs of your church.)  Proposals are sent out periodically to interested churches, to add your church to this mailing list please click here.  Events needing church sponsorship: Tools 4 School (back to school event), Family Fun Festival in October, Thanksgiving, Happy Birthday Jesus party, Annual Easter egg hunt, and more.
• Collect items for our drives throughout the year.  We are always in need of nonperishable foods, diapers and formula, toys and children’s clothing, Bibles and school supplies.  To organize a drive or to find out more please fill out our contact form.
• Volunteer with us.  Select a project from the “Get Involved” tab or contact us about arranging a service project for your group/congregation on a certain day.  If your church has a service day, let us know and we’ll find a way for your congregation to serve with us. Project request form

Business Partnerships:

• Act as a drop off location for the ministry.  We receive birthday packs on a regular basis and periodically we have drives to collect needed supplies.  We need business partners throughout the north metro Atlanta area to help.  This is a great way to get people in your store or to your office and they may decide to do business with you.  We especially need business partners during the busy holiday season. 
• Organize an office drive to collect food, clothing, school supplies, or toys to benefit the ministry children.  We can provide a flier and arrange to pick up the donations directly from your office.
• Distribute Act Together brochures.  Display our brochures in your office/store or send out information in your e-mail newsletters.

Schools, Scouting Troops, Sports Parks Partnerships:

• Sponsor a child for Christmas or for their birthday.
• Collect needed items.
• Provide scholarships for our ministry families.
• Organize a fund raiser to benefit the ministry: car wash, raffle, charity night, restaurant nights, etc.

Other Non-profits and Ministries:

• Set up a referral partnership that allows both organizations to refer clients back and forth in an effort to meet multiple needs.
• Organize an event with Act Together.
• Help spread the word about what we are doing.
• Refer extra volunteers and resources that you do not need to Act Together.
• Apply for collaborative grants to benefit the community.
